The short version: this site collects almost nothing, and sells nothing.
Some pages have a short "which tool fits you" quiz. Your answers are stored in your own browser (in localStorage) so the page can show you a result. They aren't sent anywhere unless you choose to submit an email address at the end.
If you do submit an email address, we use it for one thing only: to send you the shortlist or updates you asked for. You can reply "stop" to any message and we'll delete it. We don't add it to anything else.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare keeps standard, short-lived request logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp) for security and to keep the service running. We don't build profiles from them.
When you click an outbound link to a vendor, that vendor may set its own cookie to attribute a later sign-up to us. That's covered by the vendor's own privacy policy, not this one. See our affiliate disclosure for how that works.
