Our approach
- We check the claims, we don't reprint them. A verdict on this site is built from the vendor's own documentation, independent third-party testing and benchmarks (for example latency studies of the voice-agent platforms), and published hands-on reviews. Where a capability is only asserted by the vendor and not independently verified, we say so. We do not currently run our own call-quality lab.
- We compare by fit, not by a single score. The right AI receptionist for a busy dental practice isn't the right one for a solo plumber. Our comparisons group tools by who they suit, and say plainly where each is weak.
- We say when the answer is "none of these". Sometimes a human answering service, or hiring a part-time front-desk person, is the better call. When that's true, we'll say so.
- We keep pricing current. Vendors change plans and included-minute blocks often. Each comparison shows the date it was last checked; always confirm the live price with the vendor before buying.

The same company publishes other independent comparison and calculator sites. We are not owned by, funded by, or operated on behalf of any AI voice-agent vendor.
How we make money — affiliate disclosure
Some of the outbound links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and go on to buy a subscription, we may receive a commission from the vendor at no extra cost to you.
This never changes what we publish:
- A tool's position in a comparison is based on its capability and who it fits (per its documentation, independent testing and reviews) — not on whether it has an affiliate programme or how much it pays.
- We include tools that pay us nothing when they're the right recommendation, and we leave out or flag tools that do pay us when they're not.
- Where a link would be an affiliate link but we haven't finished confirming the programme, we say so and leave the link out until it's sorted.
If you'd rather not use our links, you can always search for the vendor directly — it makes no difference to the price you pay.
Corrections
If a price, feature, or claim on this site is out of date or wrong, tell us and we'll fix it. Accuracy is the whole point of an independent comparison.
